The ShowChoir Team
ShowChoir was brought to life in 2018 by the visionary musician, singer, and musical director Joe Martin. With the support of his family and his close friends Joe’s passion for music and teaching laid the foundation for something truly special. His creativity and expertise as a qualified musician and teacher gave rise to ShowChoir, and it wasn’t long before talented individuals from across the county joined him and his family to bring this unique, uplifting experience to communities across the northwest.
Today, the ShowChoir Team has grown into a dynamic network of passionate individuals. At its heart is the HQ Team, based in Preston, Lancashire, with 10 staff members working tirelessly behind the scenes.
The HQ Team is the backbone of the ShowChoir experience, ensuring every Member feels supported and every activity is bursting with excitement. From coordinating over 20 events each year and booking countless venues to managing membership inquiries and keeping everything running smoothly, the team’s dedication ensures every Member’s journey is as seamless as it is joyful.
Their responsibilities don’t stop there. The HQ Team also creates all the musical and educational resources that fuel the rehearsals and performances, navigates the complex world of music industry licensing, and provides cutting-edge IT support to keep ShowChoir operating at its best.
What started as a dream in 2018 has grown into a vibrant, county wide movement. ShowChoir continues to thrive because of the passion, creativity, and commitment of every member of the team—making every rehearsal, performance, and event an unforgettable experience.
The ShowChoir Leaders are an extraordinary group of talented, passionate individuals who balance their time between leading ShowChoir and pursuing their own musical, educational, and performance careers. Every ShowChoir Leader is handpicked, not only for their musical skill but also for their warmth, personality, and dedication to the well-being of their Members.
Although the Leaders are spread across the county, they operate like a close-knit family, supporting one another and working alongside the HQ Team to deliver the signature ShowChoir experience. Their shared commitment to upholding ShowChoir’s core ethos and culture ensures that every Member feels welcomed and inspired.
