How ShowChoir protects, manages, and respects your personal data.

We use this information in order to administer your membership, correspond with you, to keep you up to date with ShowChoir, our services, member opportunities, event details, and other information to enhance your membership experience. If you do not sign up with us as a member, or cease to be a member, we may use your information to remind you of our services, concerts and to keep you informed about ShowChoir.

ShowChoir may process your Personal Data because:

We need to perform a contract with you (your membership);

You have given us permission to do so;

The processing is in our legitimate interests and it's not overridden by your rights;

For payment processing purposes;

To comply with the law.

2. Information that we collect

When you register for a taster session or join ShowChoir as a member, we may collect the following information:

First name and Last name

Email address

Contact telephone number

Postal address

Vocal harmony part

How you heard about us

When you visit our site we may automatically collect technical information including the IP address used to connect your computer to the Internet, browser type and version, operating system and platform to help us improve our services.

3. Who has access to your data?

Access to your information is limited to administrative staff employed by ShowChoir and our trusted website management partners with whom we have Data Privacy contracts in place.

ShowChoir does not share, pass on or sell your personal information to any third party, except in the following circumstances:

We have your explicit consent for us to pass data to a named third party

We are required by law to share your data

4. Financial Information

We do not hold or keep any financial information about ShowChoir members either on our site or on our computers. If you pay for our services via direct debit or card, your data will be processed securely by our trusted payment providers (such as GoCardless or Stripe).
